C series is geared towards beginners and learners. It is, quite probably, the most successful and the most popular series of its kind in the world, with countless guitars sold all around the globe. CS40II is the successor of the immensely popular CS40. The MSRP for the new "40" is set at $211.00 (which means the retail price is even lower). Main features include a standard-sized, non-cutaway body (meranti back & sides, laminated spruce top), 22-13/16" scale, fully acoustic construction, stock hardware, and classic Yamaha styling. Natural (w/gloss finish, black binding, chrome hardware) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a nato neck (12th fret joint, classical profile), 19-fret rosewood fingerboard (side dot inlays, classical frets, 1-7/8" nut), rosewood bridge, and classical tuners.
