Badwater series is the backbone of the AXL Guitars with models in both the guitar and bass segments of the catalog. Bass side of the Badwater series is based upon the classic Fender designs with AXL`s styling and construction solutions. APJ-820 is based on the vintage Precision Bass with modernized pointy cutaway horns and distressed hardware on it`s top. Also, the unique crackle finish is present on some of the color options AXL assigned to this model. Crackle Brown White, Off White and Brown color options are available for APJ-820. On it`s top, APJ-820 four-stringer is equipped with a four-saddled bridge and a pair of EMG designed pickups (installed in J/P configuration). Maple neck is bolted to the body and the rosewood fingerboard is fit with 20 frets with dot inlays.
