Honeyburst
B40 is a solid-bodied bass from Carvin, and it comes with a double cutaway body made of alder. Basic variant of this bass features a flat top with no pickguards. Optionally, decorative top wood cover can be added. In the bridge section, Carvin installs one of their own bass bridges with string-through-body construction and chrome plating. In the pickups area, B40 is equipped with a pair of single oil pickups. These passive singles made by Carvin and installed in a J/J formation. They are controlled through a simple setup of split volume and master tone knobs. Neck is made of maple and it is bolted to the body. As for fingerboards, Carvin installs an ebony fingerboard, but there are alternatives, such as maple. 22 medium jumbo frets are covered with dot position inlays.
