Signature Series Basses Electric Bass Guitars by Chapman Guitars
MLB1 FF DH is one of two signature models Chapman Guitars makes for Dave Hollingworth of progressive metal bands Dorje and Toska. Also, together with the MLB1 DH, it is the first four-stringed signature series made by the brand. MLB1 FF DH breaks new ground for Chapman, as it is their first fan-fretted model (including the six-string segment). Main features include a solid MLB1 body, through-body neck, compound 33-3/4"-35" scale, Chapman/Wilkinson hardware, and, presumably, Chapman pickups (the pickup configuration is still not confirmed). The color palette includes only one option - Quicksand (satin finish, black hardware, black plastics). Other notable features include solid ovangkol body wings, mapa burl top (two-piece), 5-piece wenge/ovangkol neck, 24-fret wenge fingerboard, Chapman Monorail bridge, and Wilkinson tuners.
