GT-7 is one of two seven-stringed electric bass models in the GT series (considering the size of the standard bass section of the catalog, Conklin has the highest percentage of six and seven-stringed models in the industry). There is also one four-stringer in the series (GT-4 Fretless). This seven-stringed giant comes with a solid and double-cut body made of ash and a standard wenge/purple heart neck. Conklin offers this model in two color options: Red and Natural. Both are finished in satin and have black hardware. Two active single-coil pickups are installed on the top and they feature a simple controls unit made up of two volume and two tone knobs. Wenge/purple heart neck is topped with a 24-fret bubinga fingerboard.
