A5 Ultra RWAS is one of several updates Cort has introduced into the Artisan series` lineup at this year`s NAMM. It is a five-stringed bass guitar with modern design and construction. Moreover, it rocks world-wide renowned Bartolini electronics. A5 Ultra RWAS starts off with a solid and double-cut body made of ash wings on the sides and maple/wenge core in the middle. Carved rosewood cap tops the body. The maple/wenge center is part of a five-piece neck which runs through the body. The neck also features a slim contour, as well as a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Bartolini`s MK5CBC soapbar pickups come with MK1 (also Bartolini) EQ. Hipshot`s Trans Tone bridge (string-through-body construction) and Ultralight tuners (also Hipshot) complete the specs list.
