Artisan series is a line of intermediate/upper intermediate electric basses in Cort catalog. Along with a few other series, they form the creme of Cort`s bass segment. Mostly, this series offers four and five-string basses, but the A6 is an exception, as the only six-stringer in the current lineup (Cort has introduced a six-stringer in order to keep up with Ibanez, Schecter and other brands which include six-string basses and eight-string guitars as the standard models in their series). A6 comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany wings and the maple/wenge neck in the middle. Mahogany wings are topped with maple caps. Hardtail hipshot bridge and a pair of active humbuckers are featured on the top. Maple/wenge neck is topped with a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
