Imperial series of basses contains three models. Two have four strings and one has five. This one is the five-stringer with flamed maple top. Body is standard adn looks the same as on other Imperial basses. The biggest difference between this one and other Imperial basses is their string count. This five-stringer has a double cutaway body made of alder back and flamed maple top. It features no binding or pickguard. Bridge section is a modern one and it features hardtail bridge with adjustable saddles. There is only one pickup on this model, one humbucker. It features master volume and two tone controls. Neck is made of maple, which is the most common option to be mixed with maple. Fingerboard on this model has 22-fret fingerboard made of ebonized rosewood.
