Gary Grainger`s signature models are now a part of the Core series and are the only basses featured in the lineup, thus far. The new GG4 and 5 represent the continuation and evolution of the models formerly available through Private Stock range.
Grainger 5 Bass (2017) starts off with a solid and double-cut body, made of mahogany base and figured maple top. The top is made of two pieces and rocks the classic PRS contour, as well as creme binding. The neck is made of maple and is glued to the body. It sports the custom GG5 profile on the back and a 24-fret fingerboard on top (either maple or East Indian rosewood).
Major hardware and electronics features include a 5-saddled hardtail bridge, PRS bass tuners and Grainger pickups w/passive and active modes (volume knobs feature push/pull passive/active circuit switches).
