Edge 10 A is the basic model of the Edge 10 series, which is a part of the much larger Edge segment. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood (basswood is the standard tonewood in the Edge series and it`s most frequently combined with quilt maple tops and maple necks), standard 34" scale, black hardware and active electronics. Modern flat-top body of this four-stringer is offered in Classic Black and Metallic Red (both are finished in high gloss). On the top, there`s a standard four-saddled bridge with black plating. In it`s front, Dean installs a pair of humbucking pickups with active preamp. Neck is made of maple and it features the standard 22-fretrosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
