Epiphone`s Thunderbird Pro IV is an improved version of the regular Thunderbird, and the series flagship four-stringer. It is a solid and flat-top bass with 34" scale, black hardware and neck-through-body construction. This type of neck joint ensures the ultimate intonation, tuning stability and build quality. Body wings of this model are made of sturdy and reliable mahogany, which are glued onto the central piece (the neck). Top of the body is decorated with a triangular pickguard and standard bridge and electronics. Bridge has four saddles and is painted black. Minibucker pickups in the front are controlled through the standard set of knobs and switches. Neck on this Thunderbird is made of seven pieces of mahogany and maple and is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
