Gibson`s Flying V is one of the most iconic designs in history of electric guitar. It took 20 years for this model to take it`s rightfully earned spot under the lights and it reigns supreme ever since. Flying V bass has had an even rougher journey, being in and out of catalog several times during it`s history. This time around, we hope it`s here to stay. The current Flying V Bass comes with a solid mahogany body and set in mahogany neck (Gibson`s traditional construction). Standard chrome-plated three-point anchored bridge is fronted with a pair of Thunderbird series ceramic pickups. They`re active and have the classic Flying V controls layout. Mahogany neck on this beautiful four-stringer is topped with a 20-fret preciosa fingerboard.
