Freeway line in Godin catalog offers lower intermediate-intermediate basses with four and five-string constructions. Also, the passive and active variants are available in this series. Aim of the Freeway series is to get through to the younger players out there who want something original and new. Freeway 4 is the basic model of the line and it offers a solid, double-cut body with modern styling and flat-top design. It is made of either maple, or poplar (both variants are available) and it is paired with a maple neck through a bolt-on joint. On the top, Freeway 4 is equipped with a standard four-saddled bridge and a pair of passive pickups (J/P) configuration). Maple neck features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
