Bass Models Electric Bass Guitars by Hagstrom
Back in 1967, Hagstrom had released the world`s first commercially produce eight-string electric bass guitar. Some fifty years later, Hagstrom HB-8 carries on the torch of the eight-string bass guitar. It is a full-scale instrument (34" scale) with vintage tone, vintage styling and unmistakable Swedish craftsmanship quality.
HB-8 has a double-cut body (similar to Retroscape H-II and H-III guitars) made of mahogany and a bolt-on maple neck. Black pickguard tops the body and the 21-fret resinator fingerboard tops the neck. Medium jumbo frets, 1.57" TUSQ nut and dot inlays complete the fingerboard. Two Dyn Rail 1025H humbuckers form the pickups combo. Massive string-through hardtail bridge, die-cast Hagstrom tuners and H-Expander truss rod are also among the major features.
