Violin Bass was introduced decades ago as opposition to the full-sized solid basses which reigned the scene. Violin Bass became an instant classic upon it`s debut and Paul McCartney of Beatles became the first champion of the newly introduced Hofner wonder. Icon series aims to capture the feel, looks and tone of those early incarnations. Icon Series Left Handed Vintage Violin Bass comes with a hollow body made of maple and spruce, which is combined with a set in maple neck. Two-piece bridge on the top is fronted with a pair of active minibucker pickups. 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood wraps the specs for this outstanding four-stringer.
