BTB range is Ibanez`s shot at reasonably-priced boutique bass concept. Thus far it worked like magic, producing some of the finest basses Ibanez has ever built. New 2017 models are available through BTB Standard, BTB Premium and Ibanez bass Workshop series. BTB845 belongs to the regular BTB line, being introduced together with other BTB updates, at the annual NAMM show. Following the rules and traditions of the BTB range, new 845 starts with the neck. This time it is a 5-piece maple/rosewood neck with BTB5 profile in the back. Mahogany/ash/poplar burl sandwiched wings complete the body, and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the neck. BTB845 also features a five-saddled Monorail V bridge, Bartolini BH2 soapbar pickups (with Ibanez Custom 3-band EQ) and die-cast tuners.
