EDB basses are made for the players who prefer slapping over the classic finger and pick styles. Models of this series are elegant, powerful and modern four-stringers. 34: scales, Ibanez hardware and satin-finished color schemes are series standard features. Series top and currently only model is the mid-class EDB550. It is a four-stringed bass with solid and double-cut body made of lightweight ash. It features the flat top design, bolt-ion neck joint and chrome-plated hardware appointments. Bridge is a standard hardtail with adjustable saddles. In the front, there are two thin single-coil pickups with series standard set of control knobs and switches. Neck is made of five pieces of bubinga and wenge and it is topped with a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
