G105 is a brand new model from the Grooveline series made by Ibanez Guitars. This series concentrates around playability and ease of use, while still offering modern design, huge tone and supreme construction. New G105 is a natural continuation of the G105 line, that has been available from Grooveline series in past years. Current model was introduced at NAMM 2013. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of three layers. Top and bottom are made of solid ash, while the middle layer is made of alder. Top is equipped with beveled edges and stripped down appearance. Transparent Orange, Natural and Brown Burst are color options available for this model. Bridge section is equipped with a trusty Tight End bridge with cosmo black plating and five adjustable saddles. In it`s front Ibanez installs a pair of their own single coil pickups. Master volume, balance, three-band equalizer and the equalizer on/off mini switch are included in controls unit. Neck on this model is made of five pieces of maple and bubinga, with Grooveline 5 contour in the back. On top, there`s a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-sized frets.
