Grooveline Electric Bass Guitars by Ibanez
G104 is the new basic model of the Grooveline series of electric basses. Ibanez introduced it along with other novelties at this year`s NAMM show in Anaheim, Ca. This G104 continues in the footsteps made by the previous G104. Body is solid, double-cut and features very modern design. Construction-wise, it features beveled edges and a flat top. Neck joint is equipped with six bolts, instead of standard four, which gives a lot more stability and supreme intonation. Body is made of three layers. Bottom and top are ash, while the middle is reserved for alder. Natural and Brown Burst are the only color options available for this model and both come with high gloss finish. Bridge section is equipped with the bass variant of Ibanez Tight End bridge. It is plated in black. Pickups are CAP Sonic Arch 4 in both the bridge and neck positions. Master volume, balance and a three-band equalizer complete the electronics department. Five-piece neck is made of wenge and bubinga and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
