Mike D`Antonio`s signature series currently boasts three models. All three are made for super heavy riffs and bass lines, like the ones Mike plays with Killswitch Engage, his current band. This review is dedicated to the MDB2 which is a real killing machine. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany wings and maple/walnut neck which runs through the body. Mike D`Antonio`s basses feature modern design and quality construction along with amazing playability and monstrous tone. Hardtail bridge with four saddles is installed on the top and it features cosmo black plating. Pair of full-sized humbuckers is controlled by a stacked volume/tone knob. Maple and walnut neck is topped with a series standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
