Ibanez is most certainly not the first brand to offer fretless variants of their electric basses, but are the first one to make them budget-friendly and affordable to virtually every bass player. Ibanez is widely known and respected for the tendency to break boundaries and set new standards again and again. This summer, it is time to introduce the fretless bass concept to the affordable SR series. SR 375 F is the five-string variant with SR 370 F being the four-stringer. SR 375 F comes with a solid, double cutaway body made entirely of maple. There are no top wood covers, pickguards or bindings applied on this bass. Brown Burst is the only color option available and it is finished in high gloss. Bridge section is equipped with a fixed B120 bridge with cosmo black plating and top-load construction. Pickups on this five-stringer are Ibanez CAP EXF-N2 active humbuckers in both the bridge and neck positions. Master volume and balance knobs are accompanied by bass, mid and treble boost/cut knobs. Neck is made of five pieces of maple and rosewood and it is bolted to the body. Sr contour is featured on the back, while the rosewood fingerboard sits on the top of this neck. Fretless construction, dot position inlays, 12" radius and 1.77" wide string nut complete the fingerboard. 34" scale, cosmo black hardware and gloss finish complete the specs list for this model.
