SR Prestige series is the top tier of the SR segment of solid electric basses made by Ibanez. This series models are equipped with only the best materials and hardware available to Ibanez. These are intended for serious musicians and professionals and thus they offer unmatched playability and build quality. Also, SR Prestige basses boast versatility beyond comparison. The body of the SR5000E is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany back with wenge top. Top is carved and finished in satin. Natural color of the wenge wood is the primary color scheme for this model. Four-saddled monorail bridge is fronted with a set of two powerful single-coil pickups. Bolted neck is made of five pieces of wenge and bubinga and is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
