SR805 is the new flagship model of SR range`s Standard segment. It was introduced at 2017 NAMM, together with a multitude of SR Standard, Premium, Bass Workshop and 30th Anniversary models. The new 805 brings elegance, versatility and top class tonewoods. Amber and Deep Twilight Flat color options are available. SR805 starts off with a solid and carved SR body made of mahogany base and poplar burl top. Extended neck joint is one of the most characteristic features of 800 series construction and is also featured on the new 805. Five-piece jatoba/bubinga neck rocks SR5 profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Other important features include Bartolini`s MK-1 soapbar pickups (with Ibanez custom electronics), Accu-cast B305 hardtail bridge and die-cast tuners.
