Soundgear series, or SR as it is known world-wide, is the most popular and most recognizable line of solid-bodied electric basses in Ibanez catalog. Also, it is one of the most popular series on the market, especially the intermediate and lower intermediate portions of this series. For 2014, Ibanez has introduced ten new models with SR badge. SRF700 is one of them. It is a fretless four-stringer with active electronics and neck-through construction. Standard looking SR double-cut body is made of mahogany wings on the sides and maple/bubinga neck in the middle. There is only one color scheme available for this outstanding four-stringer, the beautiful Brown Burst Flat with satin finish and black hardware. On the top, Ibanez installs a special four-saddled hardtail bridge with a piezo pickup installed beneath it. In the front, two Bartolini soapbars form the conventional pickups combo. Each of three pickups has it`s own volume and tone knobs. Maple/bubinga neck is fit with the series standard contour in the back and a fretless rosewood fingerboard on the top. Die-cast tuners wrap the specs list.
