Though primarily known as a line of modern, double-cut basses, SR also features single-cut models. They go under SRSC name and have been in recent times mostly released through Ibanez Bass Workshop series. Usually, SRSC models feature high level of sophistication, super versatile tone and intricate styling. SRSC800 is a four-stringed model, introduced as part of Ibanez Workshop lineup at 2017 NAMM. It starts off with a solid, single-cut mahogany wing body with poplar burl top. The neck is made of five pieces of maple and purpleheart and it runs through the body. It is topped with a 24-fret purpleheart fingerboard (with 1.5" nut, abalone oval inlays, medium frets, 12" radius). Other important features include five-saddled Monorail bridge, Bartolini MK-1 pickups (with standard controls) and die-cast tuners.
