JG-622 is an acoustic-electric bass guitar made by Johnson Guitars from Yuma, Arizona. this manufacturer maintains a small, but versatile catalog of both modern and traditional stringed instruments. JG-622 belongs to the upper end of acoustic bass scale made by Johnson and it comes with a regular jumbo-shaped body with non-cutaway design. Body is made of nato back and side panels with spruce sound board on top. Within the body Johnson installs an under-saddle pickup with four-band equalizer. On the outside, the body is equipped with natural binding and vintage-styled rosette. Neck on this model is made of nato wood, which is low-budget substitute for the mahogany. It is attached to the body with a 16th-fret dovetail joint and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
