JJ-336 is one of three models in the active side of the Catalyst series lineup. This is a mighty six-stringer with bolt-on neck construction, flat-top design and a 24-fret fingerboard. This is the king of the Catalyst hill and the biggest of three models featured in this series. Solid and double-cut body of this model is made of alder back and quilted maple top (a combo very popular with both the guitars and basses across the market). On the top of the body, Johnson installs the gold-plated hardtail bridge with six adjustable saddles and a pair of active pickups (classic H/S combo) with a series standard controls unit. Neck on this six-stringed juggernaut is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
