MTD Kingston is the budget-friendly side of the Michael Tobias Design (MTD), which is produced in China, based on Michael Tobias designs and instructions. CRB is one of several series produced under the MTD Kingston label and it offers the modern-vintage concept inspired by the king of all electric basses, the cult Precision Bass. Classic Rock Bass (CRB) series comes with four and five-string variants and CRB 5 has five string construction. Solid an double-cut body is made of basswood. On the top, there is a five-saddled hardtail bridge, a middle-position P pickup with volume and tone knobs, as well as a big plastic pickguard. Bolt-on neck on this model is made of a single piece of mahogany and features a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
