Artist series is one of several series within the MTD`s Kingston range. This range is made in China and represents the affordable side of the Michael Tobias Design brand. Within it, Artist series has a specific task, which consists of offering a rocking bass at a rock bottom price. Based on the number of satisfied players, it can be said with confidence that the Artist 4 delivers on all fronts. Solid and double-cut body made of basswood is paired with a one-piece maple neck. On the top, Artist features a four-saddled hardtail bridge and a full-sized humbucker placed in the bridge position. Mater volume and a three-band equalizer comprise the controls. One-piece neck on this model is topped with a 21 fret fingerboard. Rosewood, maple and ebony are available fingerboard materials.
