For the first decade of its existence, StingRay was only made as a four-stringer, leaving many a player wanting more range and more versatility. Finally, in 1987, StingRay went five-string and another legendary bass was born. This model is here to celebrate 30 years of five-stringer StingRays.
StingRay 5 30 Anniversary is a luxurious five-stringer, made mainly for the fans of the original SingRay 5. There`s only one color option available - Trans Buttercream. It`s finished in high gloss and features a tortoiseshell pickguard and chrome-plated hardware. Music Man offers a choice between roasted maple and rosewood fingerboards.
Specs list highlights include a solid and double-cut ash body, select roasted maple neck, 22-fret fingerboard, a hardtail bridge, a special anniversary pickup, and Schaller tuners.
