PXD series is one of several lines of electric bass guitars made by Peavey, which are designed and constructed for metal players. Edgy and pointy body shapes, rough and raw tone and fantastic playability put PXD models at the forefront of the affordable segment of the market and pose a serious threat on the leading positions of affordable Ibanez, ESP LTD and Schecter models. Tragic 4 PXD is one of two currently active models in this series and it comes with a solid, double-cut body with a shape which could be best described as Explorer-like. It is made of basswood and it is paired with a through-body maple neck. Standard hardtail bridge with black plating and two humbuckers are installed on the top. 21-fret rosewood fingerboard is featured on it`s top.
