PXD series is oriented towards metal players and offers solid and sturdy four stringers with hyper modern design. Standard 34" scales, angular body contours, flat tops, 21-fret fingerboards, dual humbucker pickup combos and black hardware are featured on these models. Peavey`s standard level of build quality and very playable necks add bonus points to the appeal of modern and wild PXD four-stringers. PXD`s Void 4 model is solid, single-cut and made of basswood. Void 4 is a variation on the Explorer theme and has a bolted maple neck. On the top, Peavey installs a four-saddled hardtail bridge and a pair of dual-coil pickups for that extra punch. Maple neck is fit with a fast and smooth contour in the back and a 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
