Johnny Christ`s signature series with Schecter Guitars contains two four-stringed models and one five-stringed model. All three come clad in black and equipped with active EMG pickups. While the five-string option rocks the classic J/P setup, four-stringed models sport the legendary 81 (guitar humbucker) in the neck position. Johnny Christ Bass is a four-stringed electric bass guitar, made with a solid double-cut body, bolted neck, standard 34" scale, and an unconventional electronics unit. Core construction features include a flat-top ash body, maple neck (multi-part neck, C profile), and rosewood fingerboard (21 narrow XJ frets, custom-designed inlays, 1.496" wide string nut, 12" radius). Main hardware and electronics appointments include a gold-plated hardtail bridge, Grover tuners (also gold-plated) and a pair of EMG humbuckers (conventional bass pickup in the bridge, with guitar 81 in the neck position).
