Vintage Modified series is one of the pillars of Squier range. This series has both the electric guitars and basses in it`s ranks and both sides offer high quality and optimal prices. The main goal of this series is to offer good and balanced combination of vintage and modern specs. Most of the models from this series cost around $500 which, along with the quality they offer, puts them way ahead of the competition. For 2013, Squier expands and refreshes the lines with a bunch of new models. Vintage Modified Precision Bass Fretless is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut agathis body in combination with the standard C-shaped maple neck. On top of the bod, Squier installs a high mass bridge with four saddles. In the front, there is only one P pickup. It is a Fender Designed split-coiled P pickup. Master volume and master tone knobs are featured in the controls unit. Neck on this model is bolted to the body and it is topped with a fretless ebonol fingerboard. 1.625" wide synthetic bone nut, 9.50" radius and side dot inlays complete the fingerboard. The MSRP for this model is set at $499.99.
