Ray series in Sterling by Music Man catalog deals with affordable versions of Stingray models, which grace the standard Music Man catalog. There are four and five-string variants of this classic bass in the Ray range. Ray 35 is the series only five-stringer and it is made of the same materials and with same hardware appointments, as it`s four-stringed siblings. Thus, the Ray 35 is a solid, double-cut bass with flat-top body, bolted neck and full-length scale. Body of this model is made of ash wood and is paired with a maple neck. On the top of the body, there is a five-saddled hardtail bridge and a bridge humbucker with standard controls. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is installed on the top of the neck.
