Arpege V steps into the extended range territories with it`s low B string. It comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of three layers of solid wood: flamed maple is in the back and on top, with the alder in the middle. The top is finished in high gloss and carved. There are no bindings or pickguards. In the bridge section, Vigier installs a monorail bridge with five separate saddles. Pickups on this Arpege are made by Vigier and come in S/S configuration. They are controlled through master volume, balance and three-band equalizer. Neck on this model is made of maple and it features a D contour. Phenowood fingerboard is equipped with 24 medium-sized frets, 1.67" wide teflon string nut, 11.80" radius and side dot position markers.
