Arpege models in Vigier catalog come in many different variants and options. One of them is Arpege V Fretless, it is a solid-bodied double cutaway model with a body made of flamed maple base, alder middle layer and flamed maple top. bindings and pickguards are omitted from this gloss-finished top. The bridge is a monorail with five separate saddles. In the pickups area Vigier employs their own pickups, a pair of active single coils for this particular model . They are controlled through master volume, balance and three-band equalizer. The neck is made of maple and it sports a D contour. Phenowood is the material of choice for this bass, and it comes with a set of 24 frets, dot position inlays and 1.673" wide teflon string nut.
