Excess IV Fretless is one of many Excess basses in Vigier catalog. It comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of two centrally-joined pieces of alder. The top on this model is plain and slightly carved. There are no top woods, bindings or pickguards featured on this model. In the bridge section, Vigier opted for a quick-release bridge with gold plating. Pickups combo for this model consists of two single coil Vigier pickups. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and two-band equalizer. The neck on this model is one of the most standardized features among Vigier models, it is made of maple and bolted to the body. Rosewood fingerboard comes with 1.65" wide teflon nut, 11.80" radius and side dot position markers. 33-4/5" scale and Schaller tuners complete the specs.
