Roger Glover is one of the most famous and well respected bass players. He is known for his decades of playing with Deep Purple where he landed some of the most memorable bass lines in the history of rock. This model comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder back and flamed maple top. In the bridge section, the Excess features it`s standard Quick Release bridge. Pickups are made by Vigier and they come in S/S configuration. These active pickups are controlled through an elaborate unit which consists of master volume, balance and equalizer knobs. Neck is made of maple and it`s bolted to the body. Rosewood and maple fingerboards enjoy the same treatment and come with 24 medium frets, dot position inlays and 1.65" wide teflon nut.
