Excess Original brings a stripped down bass with supreme tone and top notch craftsmanship. It comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of two centrally joined pieces of alder. The top is plain and slightly carved. It features no top wood covers, bindings or pickguards. In the bridge section Vigier installs very efficient and stable Quick Release bridge plated in chrome. In the pickups area there`s a pair of Vigier single coil pickups. They come with master volume, balance, bass and treble knobs. This setup is active and delivers some of the strongest bass tones from Vigier. Neck is made of maple and equipped with D contour. Maple, rosewood and delta metal are materials used for fingerboards. 24 medium frets, dot position inlays, 1.65" teflon nuts and 11.80" radius are common to all three options.
