Star Bass series is one of the newer lines in Warwick catalog, despite it`s vintage looks and aura. It is, actually, a reissue of the Framus Star Bass series from several decades ago. In it`s current incarnation in the Warwick catalog, Star Bass series models are marked with "II" insignia. Star Bass II Bubinga 4 comes with a solid and double-cut hollow body made of bubinga pomelle laminated back, sides and top. Top of the body is bound in white and it`s fit with chrome-plated hardware. Two-piece Warwick bridge and a pair of over-sized single-coil pickups with split volume and tone knobs are installed on the top. Set in ovangkol neck is topped with a 21-fret fingerboard made of wenge wood.
