Midtown Standard is one of two models in the current lineup of the Midtown series. Gibson USA keeps this series alive for all the players interested in genuine semi-hollow tone. Midtown Standard comes with a double-cut body made of mahogany base and maple top. Top is bound in creme binding. Also, it features two "f" holes, one on the each side of the bridge. Ebony paint is finished in high gloss and it is featured on the headstock, as well. Bridge section includes a tune-o-matic bridge in the front with Bigsby vibrato and trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Classic '57 humbuckers are installed in the front. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features slim taper contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
