MAC series deals with double-cut electric guitars, made in the vein of the classic/modern Superstrat and Soloist concepts. It mainly houses affordable models, with a heavy focus on lower intermediate class. MAC STD/S is one of two STD (standard) models available. Main features include a solid basswood body (basswood base, sculpted basswood top), 25-1/2" scale, bolt-on neck joint, Aria electronics (three AST-1 single-coil pickups, master volume, master tone, and five-position pickup switch). Metallic Red Shade and Metallic Blue Shade options comprise the color palette. Both variants have chrome hardware, black plastics, and matching headstocks. Other notable features include a plain maple neck, 24-fret fingerboard made of stained walnut (dot inlays), string-thru tremolo bridge (ASB-1 type), and die-cast tuning machines.
