Badwater series is among the critically acclaimed lines in AXL Guitars catalog. It features a wide palette of models, designs and concepts. For instance, Badwater series contains Strat models, Les Paul models, Jazzmaster models and Flying V models and more. Badwater 1216, for example is based on the classic Les Paul design. Solid and single-cut body of this six-string axe is made of mahogany back and top. Crack Black, Crack White and Crack Blue finishes are accompanied by Brown, White and Tobacco. All feature the same, distressed hardware. Classic two-piece bridge unit is installed on the top. It is fronted by a pair of open-coil humbuckers. Standard set of controls is featured along with the pickups. Set-in mahogany neck is fit with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
