Americana is the most affordable model from the Flagships series made by Benedetto Guitars. This model is features a regular jazz archtop shaped body with a single cutaway. It comes with Antique Burst and Opulent Brown color options. Both are finished in high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Also, Americana is equipped with gold-plated Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons. A combination of white and black binding is applied all over the guitar, body top and fingerboard are bound in white. Back and side panels of the body are made of quilted maple, American or European, depends on availability. Top is made of spruce and it is the same situation as with back and sides, it depends on availability, whether it will be European or American spruce. Bracing is made of the same material. Top panel is arched and equipped with a pair of bound "f" holes. It also features an elevated pickguard made of ebony. Bridge section on this model is a standard one for Benedetto models, it features adjustable ebony bridge in the front and ebony trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Electronics department on this model is made up of neck positioned active humbucker and volume and tone control knobs. This pickup can be split with a push-pull knob. Neck is made of flamed maple and it is topped with a fingerboard made of ebony. 22 frets are installed on this fingerboard and they come with a custom 12th fret inlay made of abalone. 1.75" wide string nut and 12" radius complete the fingerboard. Scale measures 25" in length and the body is 17 inches wide. Benedetto Guitars have set the price for this model at $10,000.
