Cremona models belong to the Flagships section of the Benedetto Guitars catalog. Besides the 18" wide variant, Benedetto also offers this regular one, with 17" wide body. All Benedetto guitars are hand-made and offer the ultimate quality. Price tags which can go up to $30,000-$40,000 may seem high, but the amount of precision, hardware and tone wood qualities, tonal properties both unplugged and amplified just takes the breath away. Sheer beauty of these guitars is unbelievable. Cremona comes with a regular jazz archtop styled body with single cutaway. It`s body is equipped with a combination of black and white binding around both the top and back panel. It has an elevated pickguard and a pair of bound "f" holes, one on the either side of the adjustable ebony bridge. The bridge is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece, also made of ebony. Body is made of hand-graduated and tuned European flamed maple back and side panels, while the top and X-pattern bracing are made of European spruce. This model is available in Natural, Honey Blonde and Antique Burst colors. All three are finished in high gloss. As for amplification, Benedetto installs their own S-6 pickup in the neck position. When installed, it is controlled through a single volume knob placed on the pickguard. It is optional and Cremona can be ordered in fully acoustic variant. Neck on this model is made of the finest American flamed maple and it is attached to the body with a regular set-in joint. This neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 21 frets, abalone inlays, 12" radius and 1.75" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard. Hardware on this Cremona is gold plated and the brand of tuners is Gotoh. Scale length measures 25" in length. Cremona costs $30,000.
