Joel Stroetzel is one of several Caparison`s signature artists. His line currently contains only this model, the mighty JSM. It is a carved-top guitar with a standard 25-1/2" scale, set-in and fast neck and legendary EMG pickups combo. Though Joel and Killswitch Engage play in drop C, JSM is delivered in standard D tuning. JSM kicks off with a mahogany/maple/mahogany body with a flamed maple cap on top. Gorgeous creme binding contrasts the dark top. The neck is made of mahogany and it sports the Caparison TAT back profile. 24-fret ebony fingerboard sits on its top. EMG`s 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck deliver the ferociousness and heaviness of Kilswitch Engage`s tone in all their glory. Other major features include a string-thru TOM bridge and Gotoh tuners.
