7,8,12 String Neck Through Electric Guitars by Carvin
DC127 is a rare bird in the world of electric guitars, for not many of them feature double course strings. This twelve-stringer is basically a six-stringer with every string doubled. This grants the player fantastic sonic opportunities and versatility. The double cutaway body is made of alder and can be paired with a multitude of decorative top wood covers. Starting bridge is a hardtail with string-through construction, though other options are available. Pickups are made by Carvin and controlled with active volume and tone, passive volume and tone, two coil-splitting mini-switches and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is made of hard rock maple and topped with ebony fingerboard. Other materials, such as maple are also available. 24 frets, dot inlays and 1.69" wide nut wrap the fingerboard specs.
