DC135 comes with a set of three pickups in H/S/S configuration, which is basically the biggest difference when compared to DC125, 145 and 127. These pickups are controlled through a set up of master volume and master tone knobs, split mini-switches for coil-splitting and a three-way toggle pickup switch. In the bridge section, Carvin installs a fixed, hardtail bridge with string-through construction, though tune-o-matic, tremolo and Floyd Rose options are available. Double cutaway body is made of alder with no top woods, though various maple tops exist as options. Hardware also comes in several plating variants. Hard rock maple neck runs through the body and is primarily covered with an ebony fingerboard. 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut complete the fingerboard.
