DC145 is the top of the DC100 line as it comes with a setup of three pickups in H/S/H configuration. These pickups are controlled through master volume, master tone, two coil-splitting mini-switches and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Body on this model is, as on other DC100 models, double cut and made of alder. Basic variant features no top woods, though they are available. Neck is made of hard rock maple and it features through-body construction with fast contour. It is topped primarily with an ebony fingerboard, with alternative woods being available. 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut complete the fingerboard. In the bridge section Carvin installs a fixed bridge with string-through construction. alternative bridge options are offered. Also, hardware color can be changed.
